Toast Box is built around two things done properly: kaya toast and Nanyang kopi. The kaya toast is crisp golden bread spread with Hainanese coconut jam and a slab of butter, made for dipping into runny half-boiled eggs. The kopi is brewed the old way, through a cloth sock and poured from a long-spout pot by the counter.
