R Modern Aesthetics is a small studio where the work centres on your eyes and brows. Eyebrow embroidery is shaped to match your own features rather than stamped from a template, and the results look natural enough that people assume you were simply born with good brows.

Eyeline embroidery is the other draw, set so you can skip the daily eyeliner step entirely, alongside eyelash extensions for more definition. The studio is run by Rain, an aesthetician trained in Taipei whose background spans bridal styling, makeup, lashes and nails, and her approach is to read each face and bring out the best in it.
